Save the Children International is looking for company/individual(s) to:
- carry out a two- day training on EU Green Deal initiatives for CSO partners from Kosovo, Serbia and Republic of North Macedonia
- support CSO partners from Kosovo, Serbia and Republic of North Macedonia to design a shared, regional campaign with nationally-focused campaigning actions with children.
The outcome of the training should be a stronger understanding of the EU Green Deal by targeted CSO partners and child-led campaigning supported by targeted CSO partners in each respective country. These actions are to be linked to the action areas of the EU Green Deal and will be directed to respective national governments in Kosovo, Serbia and Republic of North Macedonia for prioritizing environmental protection and climate change.
The training is to be held in English language. It is expected that the developed campaigns reflect national priorities/issues on environment protection and climate change.
The selected company/Individual(s) will be using online platforms to deliver the training in English language. It is expected to have an interactive approach in delivering the training.
The assignment must be carried out during May 2021, and it considered final once the training is completed and participants undergo the evaluation/certification process.
The company/Individual(s) should have the following essential skills and knowledge:
- Advanced university degree in environmental policy, environmental protection and technologies, and/or human rights with specialization on environment;
- Knowledge on children’s rights international instruments and their situation in countries where the beneficiary groups of this training operate (strong insights on environment and climate change are an advantage);
- Excellent analytical, facilitation, delivering training, writing, and communication skills;
- Past Performance: Applicants must prove that they have enough experience in assignments comparable with the work they are bidding for in terms of scope and complexity and proven experience in conducting search assignments
- Strong fluency of communication (written and oral) in English language.
