MEMBERS OF THE CLUB DX HELD A WORKSHOP WITH CHILDREN FROM SECOND ECONOMY SCHOOL

The Child Rights Centre is implementing project “Child Rights in Policy and Practice” in partnership with Save the Children International, with the financial support of the Government of Sweden. One of the project objectives is to improve protection of children from  violence by raising public awareness on the consequences of corporal punishment and promotion positive and non-violent methods of upbringing.

On 16 May 2019 children and youth from the Club DX held an interactive workshop with pupils, members of the students’ parliament, in the Second Economy School. During the workshop childrencreated key messages related to  eradication of corporal punishment. Also, the importance of reporting violence was discussed and children were informed about the existing  reporting mechanisms.
