Adolescents in Action – Against Digital Violence

Project title: Adolescents in Action – Against Digital Violence
Donor: Eurochild Children’s Council – ECC
Partner: National Contact Centre for Child Online Safety
Implementation period: September 2025 – February 2026

The project “Adolescents in Action – Against Digital Violence” is implemented by the Child Rights Centre in cooperation with the National Contact Centre for Child Online Safety, with the support of the European organisation Eurochild (Eurochild Children’s Council – ECC), through the DapnheCHILD subgranting programme.

The initiative aims to empower children to recognise, report and actively prevent digital violence in their schools and local communities. The project responds to the growing prevalence of online violence among children and young people and promotes children’s active participation in protecting their rights in the digital environment. Particular emphasis is placed on the active participation of children throughout all phases of the project, from the design to the implementation of activities, as well as on the inclusion of children from vulnerable groups, including children without parental care, children with disabilities, Roma children, and children from socially and economically disadvantaged families.

The project is implemented in Kragujevac, Ćuprija and Šabac, with the participation of nine primary schools, three in each city.

Through this project, adolescents are given the opportunity to become drivers of positive change in their communities, with the support of schools, families and local communities, and to contribute to building a safer digital environment for all children.
