Save the Children International Partners meeting held in Brussels

In the period 22-24 September the representatives of the Child Rights Centre participated in the regional partners meeting of Save the Children International, which was dedicated to the topic of advocacy initiatives and opportunities fundraising.

On 23 September at DG NEAR – Directorate-General for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Negotiations, representatives of the Centre introduced to the Head of Unit for Serbia Mrs. Catherine Wendt and Mr. Konstantinos Niafas – Policy Officer – European integration with the state of child rights in the Republic of Serbia and the priorities in the implementation of normative solutions significant for the realisation of child rights. On this occasion, representatives of the Centre pointed out the importance of defining necessary activities related to the implementation of child rights in Chapter 23 in the process of Serbia’s EU accession, and the importance of the adoption of the Action Plan which defines these questions directly by the European Commission.
