Training for providers of free legal aid in the field of child rights was held

In order to improve the capacity of the network of providers of free legal aid in the field of protection of child rights, a training entitled “Role and responsibilities of centres for social work in civil court proceedings” was held.

The training was facilitated by Aleksandra Calosevic, expert consultant of the Child Rights Centre, Ranka Vujovic, Assistant Director of the Republic Secretariat for Legislation, Sladjana Radulovic and Milena Golic Ruzic, Child Rights Centre.

The training was attended by representatives of the following institutions, organisations and networks: Civil Forum Novi Pazar-CHRIS Network, City Authority Kikinda-bpp, Safety Oasis Kragujevac, Yucom, Help to Children, Legal Clinic for Child Rights and Legal Clinic for Family Law, Balkan Centre for Migration and humanitarian activities, NGO NVO Praxis – Kraljevo office, Child Rights Centre.

The training was organised within the project “Improvement of child rights through the strengthening of the judicial system and social protection in Serbia”, which is implemented in cooperation with Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs and UNICEF, and  funded by the European Union through the IPA 2013 program.
