Club for Healthy Changes – action on the occasion of the Children’s week

10.10.2017.

On 10 October 2014, during the Children’s week in Belgrade, members of the Club for Healthy Changes participated at the Fair of Associations organized by organization Friends of Children of Serbia. At the Club’s stand visitors had the opportunity to see publications created as a product of past activities of the Club, as well as publication of the Child Rights Centre. The members of the Club shared to the stand visitors 110 messages in relation to the protection of children from abuse and neglect. The same messages were distributed to participants of the Festival of children’s creativity, which took place near the stand. The messages were formed during the preparation of easy-to-read manual on Club meetings in September this year, and a goal of their distribution was to draw attention to children and their parents on the problem of child abuse and neglect, from the perspective of those who are particularly vulnerable.

Club for healthy changes is a program for children and youth with disabilities, and it is a part of the project “Empowering children/young people with disabilities to improve responses to child abuse and neglect (CAN).” This project is funded by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia, under the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) and implemented by Lumos Foundation in partnership with the Child Rights Centre. Club activities are carried out in cooperation with the Center for social preventive activities GriG.
