Katarina Lazovic
It is our great pleasure to announce Katarina Lazovic as the first DX Club Ambassador of the Child Rights Centre, Serbia Women’s National Volleyball Team player!
Katarina played for the Belgrade Volleyball Club “Vizura” since she was sixteen, and in 2019 she signed a two-year contract with the Polish team LKS from Lodz, in the position of outside hitter. She has won the gold medal (2019) and silver medal (2021) with her team at the Women’s European Volleyball Championship. Since 2021, Katarina has been playing for the Italian club “Saugella Monza”.
On this occasion, Katarina invites children and young people to follow the work of the DX Club and to get acquainted with their rights to join efforts in improving the position of children in Serbia.
“I believe it is very important to make the voices of children heard when addressing topics that concern them. I get sad when I realise that there are many young people who do not have the opportunity to turn to someone for help or to express their feelings, someone to listen to them and advise them about the problems they face. That is why it is crucial for them to get informed about their rights.”
