To mark 27 years since the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, Children’s informative cultural service (DX) and young people from BIMUN (Belgrade International Model United Nations) held a joint debate.
There they discussed the activities of the children in monitoring the implementation of their rights, as well as the rights of the child and the recommendations for their improvement. On this occasion, club DX presented the Report on implementation of child rights in the Republic of Serbia from the perspective of children and youth and its key findings.
One of the most important conclusions from this event is the necessity for the state to prepare the document which determines its policy towards children as the National Plan of Action for Children expired in 2015.
